TREC compliant PDF links

The following video tutorial show you how to take the code provided below and paste it into either your eEdge or eAgentC website, to make it TREC compliant.

We're adding 2 PDF links to your websites.

Get your website TREC compliant

STEP 1: Prepare the PDF

  1. Download this PDF 'Information about Brokerage Services' to your desktop
  2. Open the PDF and fill in
    YOUR name,
    YOUR license number,
    YOUR email address,
    YOUR phone number.
  3. Save the PDF to your desktop. You can save over the old one.

STEP 2: Upload the PDF to your Google Drive

  1. Copy and paste the provided 'CODE' from this page into Notepad/PC or simpleText/Mac.
    We'll be pasting a link from your google drive into this from the instructions below in step 11
  2. login to your @kw.com gmail account
  3. select Google Drive from google apps
  4. Drag the PDF into your google drive
  5. Right click on PDF in google drive > Share
  6. Click on Advanced
  7. Under who has access, select Change...
  8. Select 'On - Anyone with the link'
  9. Save
  10. Copy the 'Link to Share' at the top
  11. Paste into Notepad or SimpleText, replacing the #
  12. This piece of code is now ready to be copy and pasted into both your eEdge and eAgentC websites.

SIDE NOTE about the provided CODE

If you have a web designer working on your site, or you are familiar with code, you'll notice that the 1st paragraph is a complete link to PDF for the Consumer Protection Notice. The 2nd paragraph is almost complete and lacks the link reference for the PDF - Info About Brokerage Services.

STEP 3: Pasting the code (PDF links) into your eAgentC website.

  1. Log into you mykw.kw.com intranet
  2. eEdge Control Panel > myMarketing + > Manage eAgentC website
  3. 1.0 Edit Agent/Team Info
  4. 1.5 Create Home Page Message
  5. Click 'Source' and scroll to the bottom
  6. Copy the code from your Notepad or Simplet text document.
  7. Click 'Save'
  8. Refresh your website browser and you should see the the changes in your eAgentC website.
  9. Test the links to see they are functioning correctly.

STEP 4: Pasting the code (PDF links) into your eEdge website.

  1. Log into you mykw.kw.com intranet
  2. eEdge Control Panel > myMarketing + > Manage eEdge website
  3. My Account tab > Settings
  4. Scroll down to 'Additional Informationl > Edit
  5. Click on source code '<>' scroll to end of your footer content.
  6. Copy the code from your Notepad or Simplet text document.
  7. Click 'Save'
  8. Refresh your website browser and you should see the the changes in your eEdge website.
  9. Test the links to see they are functioning correctly.
